A facility is seeking a cardiology nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
About the Facility LocationThe facility is located in Asheville, NC.
About the Clinician's WorkdayCandidates must hold an active North Carolina license and NC DEA. The need is specifically for nightshift coverage from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., providing nonICU general cardiology floor coverage. The APP will round daily on all floorlevel cardiology patients, complete progress notes, event notes, admission H&Ps, consults, and discharges, and order medications, tests, and procedures as appropriate. Responsibilities also include performing new consults alongside the attending physician. Most patients are on the stepdown or cardiology units. Support is provided by Hospitalist Medicine and Cardiology, with Pulmonary Critical Care and Cardiovascular Surgery available as needed. The EMR used is Cerner.
