Job Description
(Login for Information) is seeking an experienced advanced practice clinician (nurse practitioner or physician assistant) to join our critical care team at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.
This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative, patient-centered ICU environment while enjoying a predictable full-time swing shift schedule (4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.) and a flexible block scheduling model that promotes work-life balance.

Princeton Baptist Medical Center
- 42-bed intensive care unit
- Multidisciplinary ICU: Neuro, cardiovascular, medical, surgical
- EMR: EPIC
- Work alongside an experienced, multidisciplinary critical care team
- Average ICU census: 35-45 patients (intensivist team manage ICU boarded patients in the ED)
- Responds to all codes
- No rapid response
- Procedure experience is required. Arterial Lines and CVL placement
- Typical Responsibilities: Assess and manage all patients assigned (half of census), answer phone calls from nursing, collaborate with consults, take on new consults, respond to codes, ad update families
