Critical Care Medical Physician Locums Job in Arizona | June 2 Start | Assignment #109169 

Shift description: 12-hour shifts (day or night), with occasional in-house or on-call overnight coverage. Ongoing need. Coverage includes weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Requirements:
--ACLS
--BLS
--Board Certified
--DEA
--Arizona State License or active IMLC

Required Procedures: 
--Airway & Breathing Procedures
--Endotracheal intubation – Inserting a breathing tube for mechanical ventilation
--Tracheostomy (bedside or surgical assist) – Creating a direct airway through the neck
--Bronchoscopy – Inserting a scope into the airways for diagnosis or suction

Assignment Details:
--Provide direct care for critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
--Lead multidisciplinary rounds and collaborate closely with nursing, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and consulting specialties
--Perform and supervise ICU procedures (e.g., central lines, arterial lines, intubation, chest tubes, etc.)
--Participate in rapid response and code blue teams
--Communicate regularly with patients’ families and referring physicians
--Ensure adherence to ICU protocols and quality/safety standard
--Credentialing Information: Timeframe: 90 days
--Vascular Access
--Cardiac & Circulatory Support
