Position: Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Nocturnist
Location: Naples, Florida
Schedule: Full-time | Nights/Weekends/Holidays as required | 7pm-7am; 7 days on, 7 days off rotation
Overview:
Join a dynamic, patient-centered Critical Care team in the heart of beautiful Naples, FL. Naples is a coastal paradise known for its world-class beaches, vibrant community, and exceptional quality of life. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to deliver high-acuity care in our Intensive Care Units alongside a multidisciplinary team of intensivists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive, evidence-based care to critically ill patients in medical, surgical, and cardiac ICUs
- Perform bedside procedures (based on credentialing and experience), interpret diagnostic tests, and manage complex ventilator and hemodynamic support
- Collaborate closely with attending intensivists and consultants for timely and effective patient management
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, family discussions, and rapid response/code blue scenarios
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical education, and protocol development
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- National certification as an NP (ACNP or AGACNP preferred) or PA-C
- Current Florida license (or eligibility) and BLS/ACLS certification
- Minimum 1–2 years of Critical Care or hospital-based experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking, procedural skills, and communication abilities
