Critical Care job located in Palatka, Florida

(Login for Information) has an excellent opportunity for a full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our highly skilled critical care team at Putnam Community Medical Center in Palatka, Florida! In this role you will work a 7-on, 7-off block schedule, providing solo clinician coverage for the 10-bed intensive care unit at the hospital.
 
Putnam Community Medical Center

• 100-bed, full service hospital with a 10-bed closed ICU located right outside of Jacksonville, FL
• EMR: Meditech
• The hospital has 24x7 cardiology, general surgery and cath lab coverage

 
Opportunity Overview 

• 7-on, 7-off block schedule model
• Full-time days/10-hour shifts/7a-5p
• Great compensation package
• Solo clinician coverage required with telehealth ICU physician on call for assistance
• Critical care background is required
• Procedure experience required
• Average census for ICU: 5-6 patients per day
• Typical Responsibilities: codes, acute issues, admissions, consults, and emergency procedures (central and arterial lines); ED physician in house for support on intubations; telehealth ICU team on call for assistance
