About the Clinician's WorkdayThe clinician will provide comprehensive critical care coverage during both day and night shifts with 12-hour coverage periods, alternating schedules between 2 day shifts and 2 night shifts. Essential responsibilities include managing critically ill adult patients requiring intensive monitoring and performing advanced critical care procedures including intubations, chest tube insertions, and bronchoscopy. The position requires board certification in Critical Care Medicine and involves managing a patient caseload of 12-15 patients per day while coordinating care with nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams.
