Critical Care Medicine Physician Locums Job in Kentucky | 12-Hour Shifts | Beginning July 1 – Ongoing | Assignment #114500

Coverage Details
-- 12-hour shifts
-- Day shift: 7a–7p
-- Night shift: 7p–7a
-- Schedule includes 2 day shifts and 2 night shifts with alternating coverage, varies based on schedule
-- Four providers needed

Requirements
-- Board Certified in critical care medicine
-- Kentucky state medical license
-- Residency or fellowship training
-- ACLS
-- BLS
-- DEA
-- Clean background and malpractice history

Required Procedures / Skills
-- Intubation
-- Chest tube placement
-- Bronchoscopy

Assignment Details
-- Closed unit. 4 units 50 total beds Generally 4 intensivists during day and 1 night
-- Patient volume: 12–15 patients per day
-- Types of cases: All acuity levels
-- Support staff: Nursing support
-- Reason for coverage: Staffing shortage and addition of a new service line
-- Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 60–90 days
-- EMR: Epic
