This inpatient facility operates a closed ICU comprising 4 dedicated critical care units with a total of 50 beds. The hospital provides specialized inpatient critical care services and maintains established protocols to support quality patient care delivery. The facility is expanding its critical care service line and requires locum tenens coverage to address a current staffing shortage.

Kentucky offers a range of attractions suited to varied interests, including thoroughbred horse farms, racetracks, and the Kentucky Horse Park, as well as a well-established bourbon trail featuring guided distillery tours and tastings. Visitors may explore notable museums such as the National Corvette Museum, Frazier History Museum, and the Historic RailPark and Train Museum, alongside natural formations including Mammoth Cave, Crystal Onyx Cave, and Hidden River Cave. Outdoor pursuits such as horseback riding, canoeing, kayaking, and river cruises along the Ohio River are also available throughout the region.

The clinician will provide critical care coverage across alternating day and night shifts on a 12-hour schedule, supporting a newly added service within a closed ICU environment. Coverage consists of 2 day shifts and 2 night shifts per rotation, addressing a current staffing shortage at the facility. The clinician will manage critically ill adult patients across 4 ICU units with a total of 50 beds, delivering intensive monitoring and advanced critical care interventions. Board certification is required for this assignment.
