Critical Care job located in Rock Hill, South Carolina

Are you an experienced critical care trained nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA)? If so, we want you to join our team in Rock Hill, South Carolina! You will have the opportunity to work with our highly skilled and established ICU team at Piedmont Medical Center.

In this role, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our hospitalized critical care patients, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. The position consists of a flexible block schedule working the 7a-7p day shift. Responsibilities include admissions, discharges, consults, and rounding on ICU patients.

Piedmont Medical Center- Rock Hill

• 288-bed hospital located in Rock Hill
• 24-bed ICU
• Multidisciplinary critical care program: combination of MSICU, CVICU, and TSICU patient
• No solo APC coverage is required
• Average census during the day is 20-24 (round, admit, discharge) split between the two Intensivists and APC
• EMR: Cerner
• Procedures required
• Full-time day shift: 7a-7p block schedule rotation with a 2-weekend per month requirement most months
• Level III trauma designation
