This 275-bed hospital is situated near downtown Chattanooga and offers comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical services. The facility maintains established protocols and appropriate resources to support the delivery of specialized critical care services to critically ill patients. The hospital is equipped to manage a broad range of inpatient critical care needs within a full-service hospital environment.

Chattanooga and the surrounding Tennessee region offer a range of experiences suited to varied interests. Outdoor attractions include Ruby Falls and access to the Appalachian foothills, while the Tennessee Aquarium and Lookout Mountain provide additional options. Visitors may also explore the historic Chattanooga Choo-Choo, the Tennessee Riverwalk, and local community markets and dining along the downtown waterfront.

The clinician will provide critical care coverage during 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with night call responsibilities from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, managing critically ill adult patients requiring intensive monitoring and advanced life support interventions. Coverage is expected at a rate of 5-10 shifts per month, with an average daily census of 13-18 patients. The clinician will perform common critical care procedures including airway management, central line and arterial line placement, dialysis catheter insertion, paracentesis, thoracentesis, bronchoscopy, and chest tube insertion at a minimum. The clinician will coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and maintain electronic documentation standards throughout the assignment.
