A facility is seeking a critical care physician associate for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Salem, VA.

The facility is seeking an experienced APP to cover 12-hour day shifts from June 2024 in a 36-bed Med Surg/CVICU unit. Candidates must hold an active Virginia license and DEA, with no time available for licensing transfers. ACLS is required, and the provider must be able to perform procedures such as a-lines, intubations, central lines, and ventilator management. The unit is supported by 12 MDs and 2 APPs during the day, and 12 MDs with 12 APPs at night, alongside rotating residents.
