Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Locums Job in Arizona | 12-Hour Shifts | ASAP - Ongoing | Assignment #113755
Coverage Details
-- Providers must be able to work either 10- or 12-hour shifts
-- Minimum commitment of 20 hours per week
-- Must be able to work two weekend days during the period of September–December
— Dual Facility Assignment
Requirements
-- Active Arizona license
-- Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
-- Must be able to work 10- or 12-hour shifts
-- Must be able to commit to at least 4 months, with option to extend
-- Experienced providers preferred; new graduates will be considered with a longer orientation period
Assignment Details
-- Facility is a Level I trauma center and a training site for the University of Arizona School of Medicine
-- Patient population is generally ASA III–V
-- Providers will spend approximately 50–65% of their time staffing locations outside of the Main OR, including Endoscopy, Cath Lab, and Radiology
-- The site staffs nine offsite rooms daily (6–7 Endo, 2 Cath Lab, and 1 Radiology)
-- Initially, CRNAs will spend approximately 60–65% of their time supporting offsite locations; this percentage is expected to decrease as staffing increases
-- Case types include GYN, spine, ortho trauma, general surgery, bariatric, vascular, pediatrics, ENT, colorectal, neuro, podiatry, general trauma, endoscopy, cath lab, and other offsite locations
-- Endoscopy cases include complex GI and advanced procedures such as ERCPs, bronchoscopies, and double balloon procedures
-- No hearts, OB, or complex vascular procedures such as AAA, thoracic, or liver/lung/heart transplants
-- Hospital privileging takes approximately 45–60 days with an active Arizona license and a clean provider file
