The facility operates under a supervision model and maintains modern anesthesia capabilities for diverse surgical specialties. The hospital offers optional cardiac cases to interested CRNAs but does not require this specialty coverage.

The state offers diverse activities ranging from horse racing at Churchill Downs to river cruises along the Ohio River. The CRNA will provide comprehensive anesthesia services during Monday through Friday day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM under supervision. The clinician will manage general bread and butter cases, orthopedic procedures, urology, ENT, and OB cases with epidurals preferred but not required. Epic EMR documentation is required for all patient care activities. Call coverage operates on a 1:5 beeper call rotation and is negotiable.
