CRNA Hospital Based job located in Maine

Medical Center is seeking a locums CRNA to fill their need
- Dates of coverage: Starting ASAP, ideally at least 6-month contracts, will take as short as 3 months.
- Schedule: 36-40 hours/week. 10- or 12-hour shifts; 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM;  7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (option for 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM; 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM; 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM)
- Reason for Coverage: Expansion of clinical services.
- Practice Setting: Hospital based
- EMR: EPIC
- CRNA be Supervised or Work Independently: We utilize a medical direction billing model with a fairly collaborative practice model.  
- Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: 100
- Level 1 Trauma Center
- Annual ER Volume: >60,000 visits/year
- Our CRNA team is excellent, and we pride ourselves on a collaborative culture where the patient is the center of our universe.
- Number of Operating Rooms:  50
- Patient Age Demographic: All ages are in our ORs; however, we have a pediatric CRNA specialty team who cover all of our pedi cases.
Required Procedures:
- General Surgical Cases ADULT
- Spinal Anesthesia
- Neurosurgical Cases
- Ventilation Management
- Local Infiltration
- CRNAs will NOT do open hearts, regional anesthesia, central lines. We have dedicated CRNA teams that cover pediatric, thoracic and OB cases, so locums will generally not do those cases.
- Required: Board Certification (AANA), ME state license, BLS, ACLS, > 1 year of level 1 trauma center experience as a CRNA
