A busy hospital is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage.
About the Facility LocationThe facility is located in Roaring Springs, PA.
About the Clinician's WorkdayThe team consists of 1 MD and 3 CRNAs onsite daily, with 1 MD on pager call. The staffing model includes 2 MDs and 4 CRNAs. Weekday shifts are Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (10 hours) and two 8-hour shifts from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. One CRNA is on call following the 10-hour shift, and weekends are call only. The hospital handles about 4,320 cases annually across a range of specialties including general, cardiac, ortho (1,400 cases with blocks and neuraxial anesthesia), GYN, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, podiatry, urology, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial surgery. There are no neuro, pain, plastics, thoracic, vascular, or pulmonary cases. This is a busy, 154-bed general acute care hospital and a Level III trauma center. Credentialing typically takes about 60 days, and the hospital uses EPIC for its electronic medical records.
