I am part of a small community EM group, and am recruiting for the ER at Garfield Medical Center. 

The Garfield ER is medium sized, with 21 rooms, and an additional 8-10 hallways beds. We are a STEMI and Stroke Center, and have the capability to perform thrombectomies. We have a very active cardiothoracic service and they can do aortic dissections/AAAs.

The acuity is high, with a 20% admit rate and a  10% critical care, but my favorite part about working at Garfield is making a difference in very sick patients. Docs see about 1.6 patients per hour on average. 

We are looking for a split day/night shift physician, to start in early 2026. 

Pay is RVU based, ranging from 240-265$/ hour with night shift making on average 20$ more than day shift)

EMR is Thrive (AKA CPSI)

1099 IC status, with 1M/3M Malpractice with Tail
