HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is seeking an Associate Chief of Emergency Medicine to join our established and high-performing emergency medicine leadership team in Panama City, Florida.
This is a permanent leadership opportunity for an experienced Emergency Medicine physician who is interested in operational leadership, clinical excellence, and mentoring within a growing coastal health system.

- Opportunity to help lead a high-volume, high-acuity emergency department with affiliated freestanding EDs
Qualified Candidates
- Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM required)
- IM or FM physicians with extensive Emergency Medicine experience will be considered
- Prior leadership experience with similar volume and acuity preferred
- Strong interest in physician leadership, quality, and team development
Facility Overview
- 282 bed acute care hospital
- 40 bed Emergency Department with fast track
- Approximately 60,000 annual ED visits
- 10 hours of dedicated Pediatric Emergency Room coverage daily
- Critical care sub-specialty support available
- Affiliated freestanding EDs: Panama City Emergency and Breakfast Point Emergency
