A facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Bryron, Georgia.
This facility operates on a 24-hour physician and NP/PA staffing model, with physician shifts running from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., and NP/PA shifts from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. There are no call requirements. The emergency department sees an annual volume of 29,813 patients, averaging 82 patients per day, with 9.3% arriving via EMS and 5.1% admission rate. The ED includes 14 beds and uses the Epic EMR system. Scribe coverage is available, and backup specialties and special services are provided. Candidates must hold an active state license and be board certified in EM, IM, or FM. Flu and PPD immunizations within the past 12 months are required, though waivers may be considered. The facility is seeking providers available for 5 to 12 shifts per month, with 12-hour shift options from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
