There are 24 hours of physician coverage with up to 10 hours of APC coverage. The facility has a moderate-high acuity level and a 15% admission rate. Physicians must be board certified or board eligible in emergency medicine (EM).

Dupont Hospital, a 131-bed acute care hospital, is designed by physicians to provide better patient care and comfort. The facility has even been designated as a senior-friendly hospital and is home to the first emergency department in Indiana accredited as a Level 1 geriatric ED. The hospital also offers inpatient and outpatient surgery, obstetrics and Level 3 NICU, emergency services, radiology, laboratory services, intensive care, general medical/surgical, pediatrics, and interventional radiology.
