Job Description
Western Massachusetts facility seeking a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician
--Morning and night coverage needed (7a-7p, 7a-3p, 7p-7a, 10a-9p, 1p-9p, 3p-11p)
--12 hours, 8 hours, and 11 hours shifts available
--Float between two hospitals
--Trauma level 3
--Annual ER Volume: 55,000
--EMR: Meditech
--EM is not responsible for codes
--Admissions are performed by the hospitalist or admitting service
--There is APP coverage
--Patients Admitted to the Hospital per Day: 30%
--Deliveries are sent directly to Labor & Delivery
--ED is responsible for Monitoring/Supervising Paramedics/Ambulance by Radio
--Required: BC/BE Emergency Medicine (within 5 years), BLS, ACLS, ATLS, clean background
