Emergency Medicine Physician Locums Job in Michigan | December 31 – July 31 | Multiple Shifts | Assignment #112767

Coverage Details
-- Shift Types: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM, 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM, 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM
-- Weekend coverage required
-- Multiple shifts available throughout assignment period

Scheduled Dates

Requirements
-- Board Certified (No BE); IM/FM accepted with 2+ years recent ED experience
-- Michigan License required at time of clear (No IMLC)
-- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
-- Must be local
-- Clean malpractice history

Required Procedures/Skills
-- Airway management
-- Central Line
-- Arterial Line
-- EKG interpretation
-- Lumbar puncture
-- Paracentesis
-- Suturing of minor lacerations
-- Orthopedic care (non-displaced fractures)
-- Incision & Drainage
-- Arthrocentesis
-- Ventilation management (establishing & maintaining airway; various modes for up to 24 hours without pulmonary consult)
-- Evaluation & management of acute volume/BP issues
-- Adult Outpatient
-- Pediatric-General Outpatient
-- Newborn resuscitation
-- Diagnosis & management of common industrial-related medical problems
-- EM-related procedures

Additional Notes
-- Patient Volume: Approx. 80 patients/day; 1.8 patients/hour per physician
-- Support Staff: APP coverage (12 hours), full ED nursing/tech support, radiology, and lab
-- EMR: Cerner
