We have an excellent full-time opportunity for an emergency medicine (EM) physician to join our dynamic team at Lovelace Regional Hospital in Roswell, New Mexico. Lovelace Regional Hospital offers a unique environment characterized by its small-town community feel and high national safety standards. Roswell offers a low cost of living, short commute times, and access to outdoor activities like hiking and skiing in the nearby Sierra Blanca mountains.

About Lovelace Regional's Emergency Department

• Annual patient volume of 13,500
• 10-bed ED
• EMR: Epic
• CLEO dictation for efficient, accurate clinical documentation, reducing administrative responsibility and supporting real-time patient care
• 24 hours of physician coverage

Position Requirements

• Board prepared or board certified in emergency medicine through American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM)
• Will also consider those boarded in the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM), American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), or American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine (AOBFM) with emergency medicine experience.  
• Current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications
• New Mexico medical license or ability to obtain prior to start date

Pay Structure

• Independent contractor (1099) status
• Competitive sign-on bonus
• Travel stipend for blocked shifts
