A health system is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician Associate for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Eastern North Carolina.
Coverage is needed for emergency department shifts from 10am10pm on August 1, 2, and 29, and from 1pm1am on August 26, 9, 11, 1517, 1923, and 30. Required certifications include ACLS, ATLS, and PALS. The facility has 15 ED beds and recently underwent a renovation, including the opening of a fast-track minor emergency section operating 12 hours daily. The average inpatient census includes 47 acute care and 24 behavioral health patients, with around 63 ED visits and 11 admissions per day. The site uses the EPIC EMR system.
