A health system is seeking a Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Eastern North Carolina.
A facility is seeking an ABEM-certified physician to provide coverage in their Emergency Department, with orientation required the day before the first scheduled shift. They are open to EM physicians as well as IM/FM-trained physicians with relevant emergency medicine experience and certifications (ACLS, ATLS, PALS required for IM/FM). The ED features 15 beds, a newly renovated department, and a recently opened 12-hour daily minor emergency (fast track) section. The hospital averages 80 ED patients and 11 admissions per day, with a total inpatient census of 47 acute beds. Coverage is needed for both day and night 12-hour shifts in August, and the facility is ideally seeking six to twelve shifts per month. The EMR used is EPIC.
