(Login for Information), an independent, community-based hospital, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine physician to join our collegial Emergency Department team in Clinton, North Carolina.
As one of the few remaining independent hospitals in the state, SampsonRMC gives physicians the opportunity to practice medicine with true clinical autonomy in a supportive, patient-centered environment.
This position is ideal for a confident, team-oriented physician who thrives in a solo-provider model and takes pride in delivering high-quality, compassionate emergency care.
We offer flexible scheduling, including the option for nights-only or mixed day/night shifts, with a manageable monthly workload that supports an excellent work-life balance.
Schedule
- Shifts: 12-hour shifts (7A-7P or 7P-7A)
- Monthly Schedule: 12-14 shifts per month
- Coverage: 1 Day Physician, 1 Night Physician, with strong PA support
- Hard Sign-Out at the end of each shift
Practice Details
- Patient Volume: ~32,000 annual visits (~90-100 patients daily)
- Acuity: Average ESI 3-4
- 22 bed Emergency Department
- 24-hour hospitalist and radiology coverage
- Strong air and ground transport support for higher-acuity transfers
- Specialties on-site: General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care, and Urology
