The clinician must maintain current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, and BLS while coordinating patient care with air and ground transport services for transfers when necessary. Board certification is not required, though the facility seeks either an ABEM physician or a family medicine or internal medicine physician with emergency medicine experience.
