The Facility – The Quentin N Burdick Memorial Health Care Facility
The Quentin N. Burdick Memorial Health Care Facility located in Belcourt, North Dakota, and is a 27 beds hospital serving a population of approximately 14,550 Native Americans.
The QNBMHCF Outpatient provide 24 Hour Emergency Services, Laboratory, Radiology (CAT Scan & Mobile MRI) and 24 Hr Pharmacy Services. Ambulatory Services consist of Optometry, Dental, Clinic, Emergency, Podiatry, and Same Day Clinic. QNBMHCF also offers Behavioral Health.

Shift: 7:00am-7:00pm or 7:00pm-7:00am
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):
- Interview and examine patients, review past medical history and request and/or perform diagnostic tests and examinations as necessary to make diagnosis for primary care services. They make diagnosis after evaluating information obtained and provide medical or surgical treatment and/or referral as appropriate.
- Provide health care services, for the entire Period of Performance at the Quentin Burdick Memorial Healthcare Facility. The physician shall schedule and perform procedures as appropriate.
- Counsel and educate patients, families, community, and medical staff about general health care.
- Be able to do both non emergent and emergent surgical procedures within their requested scope of privileges. When appropriate, shall supervise the administration of general anesthesia by a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) if an Anesthesiologist is not available.
- Prescribe drugs and tests necessary to provide care including the use of radiology and laboratory.
Requirements:
- Possess a current, unrestricted state Medical license from any of the 50 United States or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico
- Be board-certified, or board eligible: American Board of Emergency Medicine.
- Possess current BLS, PALS, ACLS, ATLS
