Emergency Medicine Physician Locums Job in Texas | Full-Time and Ongoing | Beginning October | Assignment #110798

Schedule/Availability Requirements:
--Coverage: 24-26 Hours 
--Shifts: 8-9 hour  
--Must be willing to work Days/Nights

Requirements: 
--Board Certified Maryland
--Active Texas license and DEA in hand (with TX address)
--Clean Malpractice
--ABEM PEDS (or osteopathic counterparts)
--Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, & PALS (If ABEM PEDS, need current ACLS & PALS and 1X proof of ATLS)
--CME past two years
--Case logs past two years
--TB/FLU/Hep B/MMR/VARICELLA Immunization records
--Must have 8 hours of Stroke CME and 8 hours of Trauma CME
--Must take in person EMR Training prior to first shift (PCC Coordinates- does not have to be privileged prior to training)
--Subspecialty coverage: Cardiology, Imaging, Gastroenterology, Oncology, Orthopedics, Pulmonology, Urology, Stroke Center

Assignment Details:
--Trauma Level 4
--15,000 annual ED volume 
--16 ED Beds, 4 for lower acuity 
--EMR - Cerner 
--24 hours daily scribe coverage  
--8 hours APP coverage on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday
--More than 350 beds for heart care, neuro and brain services, back and spine surgeries and more.
