(Login for Information) is seeking emergency medicine physicians for the new Seton Medical Center Harker Heights South Campus freestanding emergency department in Belton, Texas. This brand new FSED is opening late 2026. Enjoy the flexibility of a lower-volume freestanding emergency department with the option to pick up additional shifts at the affiliated (Login for Information) emergency department.

Flexible Practice Options
Physicians may practice exclusively at the new FSED or supplement their schedule with shifts at the affiliated (Login for Information) emergency department, Seton Medical Center Harker Heights.

Seton Medical Center Harker Heights South Campus (New FSED)

• Brand-new freestanding emergency department
• Located in the rapidly growing Belton/Salado corridor
• Modern facility designed to expand emergency care access throughout the region
• Direct transfer pathways to the affiliated hospital when specialty consultation, admission, or higher-acuity care is needed

Seton Medical Center Harker Heights

• (Login for Information)-managed emergency department
• Level IV Trauma Center
• Approximately 48,000 annual ED visits
• 17-bed emergency department plus fast track
• EPIC EMR
• 10-hour physician shifts
• 40 physician hours daily
• 40 APC hours daily
• Experienced (Login for Information) physician and APC team

Compensation and Benefits

• Full-time status achieved at just 10 shifts per month (120 hours/month)
• Full-time physicians are eligible for health insurance and (Login for Information) benefits
• Sign-on bonus available
• Professional liability insurance with tail coverage

Qualifications

• ABEM board certified or board eligible
• Texas medical license (or ability to obtain)
