The physician will provide comprehensive family medicine services to adult patients in a correctional facility setting, managing 8-12 patients daily with focus on chronic care management, injury treatment, and acute illness care. Clinical duties include conducting thorough patient evaluations, managing chronic medical conditions, providing preventive healthcare services, and treating acute illnesses while maintaining accurate medical records. The position requires working Monday through Thursday or Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with no call requirements, collaborating with nursing staff and nurse supervisors to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The clinician will work within the specialized correctional healthcare environment with 24/7 phone support available and expedited one-week credentialing process.
