Overview

The (Login for Information) (SAVAHCS) is seeking dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physicians to join our team. We offer positions across seven vibrant Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) in Casa Grande, Safford, Sierra Vista, Green Valley, Yuma, Northwest, and Tucson. Practice Structure

  • Practice Type: Outpatient, hospital-employed
  • Call Expectations: Minimal call requirements, providing a healthy work-life balance

Lifestyle and Schedule

  • Work Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts between Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Flexibility: Eligible for a compressed/flexible work schedule to align with your personal and family priorities
  • Location: Choose from Casa Grande, Safford, Sierra Vista, Green Valley, Yuma, Northwest, and Tucson – Arizona

 

Compensation and Incentives

  • Salary Range: $263,000 - $280,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
  • Incentives: Performance bonuses, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Primary Care Physician within our PACT (Patient Aligned Care Team), you will:

  • Provide comprehensive care to a panel of adult patients, from young adults to elderly.
  • Work seamlessly with other healthcare team members to support VA quality and patient satisfaction initiatives.
  • Optimize patient health through direct patient care, ordering diagnostic testing, prescribing medications including contraceptive medications, consulting with specialty services, and utilizing computerized/electronic medical records.
  • Deliver patient care in accordance with professional standards, core values, and commitment to service excellence.

Requirements

  • Citizenship: US Citizen
  • Visa Sponsorship: This position is open to qualified non-U.S. citizens if no suitable U.S. citizen is identified. We welcome applications from J-1 visa candidates who meet the qualifications for this role.
  • Licensure: Must have an active and unrestricted license in any US state
  • Education: Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine
  • Training: Residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine in any US state
  • Certification: Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM)
