An occ med clinic is seeking a Family Medicine Physician Associate for locum tenens coverage.

This role offers a credentialing timeframe of 30 days or less with a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or until the last patient is seen, and no call responsibilities. The position is open to MDs or APPs and averages 20-25 patients per day, with a patient mix of approximately 90% occupational medicine and 10% urgent care. DOT certification is required prior to the first shift, and AllScripts is the EMR system used. Providers treat scheduled and walk-in work-related injuries and urgent care patients in an outpatient clinic setting, perform pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and surveillance physicals, complete in-office procedures, communicate with employers, and may oversee or supervise advanced practice providers. Concentra typically provides a one-week orientation alongside a permanent physician, and providers generally remain at the same location for three-month assignments.
