Role Overview:
Rocket Doctor USA is seeking board-certified Primary Care Physicians (MD/DO) to provide high-quality virtual care to managed care patient populations. Physicians will deliver comprehensive telehealth visits addressing acute concerns, chronic disease management, medication management, and preventative care.

This opportunity is structured as an Independent Contractor (1099) position. Physicians are not employees of Rocket Doctor but will provide services through our digital platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual primary care visits (acute, chronic, preventive)

• Diagnose and manage common adult conditions

• Prescribe medications electronically (EPCS where applicable)

• Order labs and imaging as appropriate

• Provide clear and thorough documentation within the EMR

• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care

• Deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care

Required Qualifications:

• MD or DO (Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine)

• Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license (multi-state preferred)

• Active DEA registration

• Experience working with managed care populations preferred

• Comfort with telehealth and digital clinical platforms

• Strong documentation and communication skills

Schedule & Commitment:

• Flexible scheduling options available

• No overnight call

• Clinic blocks available weekdays and/or weekends

Credentialing & Support:
Rocket Doctor will support and manage the credentialing process with participating health plans and payors. Our administrative and billing teams handle operational workflows so physicians can focus on patient care.
