Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Conducting physical exams, assessing patient health, ordering diagnostic tests, and making diagnoses. 
• Treatment: Developing and implementing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and managing therapies. 
• Preventive Care: Promoting preventive measures like vaccinations and screenings, and educating patients on health maintenance. 
• Chronic Disease Management: Managing and monitoring patients with chronic conditions. 
• Collaboration: Working with specialists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. 
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records. 
• Quality Improvement: Participating in initiatives to enhance patient care services. 
• Staying Current: Keeping abreast of medical advancements and best practices. 

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited medical school. 
• Licensure: Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (e.g., Florida). 
• DEA License: A current DEA number for controlled substances. 
• BLS Certification: Basic Life Support certification. 
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues. 
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport with patients and work collaboratively.
