Job Description (Remote Telemedicine Physician, 1099 Gig Role)

Role
Provide remote clinical care to patients through phone visits, video visits, and asynchronous telechat consults. Physicians review patient concerns, perform appropriate medical decision-making within scope, document encounters in the EMR, and close visits with clear assessment and plan, including follow-up guidance and escalation when clinically indicated. This is a flexible, consult-based opportunity designed as supplemental clinical work rather than a traditional full-time role. Compensation is $20 per completed consultation.

Skills Needed

• Board-eligible or board-certified physician with an active, unrestricted medical license (and ability to meet any state-specific requirements as assigned)

• Strong telemedicine clinical judgment, including triage, risk assessment, and clear care planning

• Excellent written communication for asynchronous telechat consults and patient-friendly documentation

• Comfort with remote workflows and technology, including CharmHealth EMR and the AMY MD telechat platform (patients engage via secure web; physicians manage consults via the clinician app)

• Efficient charting, accurate coding support (as applicable), and adherence to HIPAA/privacy standards

• Professional bedside manner over phone/video, responsiveness, and reliability in closing consults
