The facility is a long-term care geriatric hospital specializing in psychiatric and behavioral health services. The hospital maintains comprehensive staffing including registered nurses, medical assistants, physicians, and advanced practice providers available onsite. A full behavioral health team supports the integrated care model for the geriatric patient population.

Georgia offers diverse attractions ranging from cultural destinations to extensive nature and wildlife areas. The state features parks such as Amicalola Falls State Park with natural waterfalls and scenic landscapes, alongside recreational activities at various locations including wineries and coastal experiences. Georgia accommodates various interests through its combination of urban attractions, outdoor recreation, and historic sites throughout the region.

The physician will provide comprehensive family medicine care Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The role involves managing 15-18 patients per day within a long-term care setting specializing in psychiatric and geriatric populations. The physician will work collaboratively with onsite RN, MA, MD, and APP staff along with a full behavioral health team. Board certification or board eligibility is required for this full-time position. No call requirements are associated with this outpatient assignment. The physician must maintain prescriptive authority and work onsite at the facility.
