We are looking for a Family Medicine Physician or Internal Medicine Physician to join our practice full time or part time in Oak Park, IL. Our busy, vibrant, and diverse Family Medicine practice is just west of Chicago. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working, enthusiastic Family Physician to join our six physician and three physician assistant private practice.
We are in the heart of Chicago suburb Oak Park, IL and enjoy an eclectic patient base who continue to refer family and friends to our growing practice. You will have the opportunity to quickly build your own practice. As a Physician at our practice, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to patients of all ages. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to diagnose, treat, and manage various medical conditions, while also focusing on preventive care and health promotion. Ideally, the physician is board certified in family medicine, bilingual in Spanish, and someone who wants to work for an independent, flexible practice. We offer support for physicians’ individual interests and preferences for type of panel, length of appointments, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations of patients.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and infections.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Prescribe medications and therapies as necessary.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
- Educate patients on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and preventing illness.
- Perform routine health screenings, vaccinations, and immunizations.
- Provide counseling on nutrition, exercise, and stress management.
- Work closely with nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Consult with specialists and refer patients as needed for specialized care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) for each patient encounter.
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes clearly and concisely.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Family Medicine. Preferred or Internal Medicine with pediatric
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Illinois
- DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration
Schedule:
- Full time or Part time
- Mon-Friday 34-36 patient hours
- 1-2 Saturdays /month 8 am- 12pm – will have one day off during the week.
Salary:
- $200,000 + (DOE)
