Kirby Medical Group is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join the QuickCare Clinic in Monticello, Illinois. This opportunity offers a unique practice model that blends urgent care style medicine with the option to build an outpatient primary care panel. The position is ideal for a physician who enjoys a fast-paced clinical environment, values autonomy, and appreciates collaborating with and providing oversight to Nurse Practitioners. The QuickCare Clinic is connected directly to Kirby Medical Center, giving physicians immediate access to hospital resources and comprehensive ancillary services that support efficient and high-quality patient care.

Position Highlights

•Fifteen-minute visit schedule
•Mix of suburban and rural patient population
•Opportunity to build and maintain an outpatient primary care panel
•Competitive compensation of $300,000 which includes supervision responsibilities

Clinical Scope
The physician will treat a broad range of acute conditions and injuries while also having the option to maintain continuity with patients through outpatient primary care. Procedures commonly performed include Toenail removal, Joint injections, Splinting, Suturing and stapling, Punch biopsies, Lesion removals, and Minor wound care

Practice Environment
QuickCare Clinic operates as part of Kirby Medical Center and provides access to extensive onsite services including an Emergency Department, 24hr laboratory services, Pharmacy and Imaging services. Call responsibilities are minimal with 1:4 limited to clinic hours. After 7:00 PM, calls are triaged to Carle Health.

EMR: Meditech, with a planned transition to Epic in Spring 2027.
