Job Description

Position Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician (MD) to provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care across the lifespan.
This position is eligible for a $100,000.00 sign-on bonus and additional relocation, continuing education, and student loan repayment incentives, up to $20,000.00
General Scope of Practice
- Provide full-spectrum primary care to patients of all ages
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Deliver preventive care, wellness visits, and health screenings
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans
- Coordinate care with specialists and other members of the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
- Engage in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Shared ER call and coverage rotation designed to promote work-life balance

- Rural and agricultural population
- Medically underserved and aging community
- High need for continuity of care and chronic disease management
- Strong emphasis on preventive medicine and access to primary care services
Education and Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine residency
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP)
- Eligible for state medical licensure
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- BLS/ACLS certification as required
- Must be new to Rural Healthcare
