Job Description
A well-established private practice in Hammond, Louisiana, is seeking a Family Medicine physician to join its team with a long-term partnership opportunity. This role offers the ideal blend of clinical autonomy, work-life balance, and financial growth potential through a clear path to ownership.
The practice provides strong hospital support and a balanced outpatient/inpatient model, allowing physicians to care for a diverse patient population while maintaining a manageable schedule.
Position Highlights
- $300,000 guaranteed base salary (hospital-backed)
- 4-day clinic workweek
- Balanced outpatient/inpatient mix (~70% outpatient / 30% inpatient)
- Approximately 20–23 clinic patients per day
- Strong hospital and practice support
- Student loan assistance, relocation assistance, CME allowance, and malpractice coverage
- Partnership/buy-in opportunity as early as 6 months
- Owner financing available for partnership transition
Position Requirements
- Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics physicians welcome
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Comfortable providing both outpatient and inpatient care
- Must live within 30 minutes of the hospital
- Seeking a long-term commitment
