A FQHC is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Central Maine.

This outpatient role is seeking an NP only, with a credentialing timeframe of 34 weeks. The schedule is flexible with either 4x10s (preferred) or 5x8s, aligning with facility hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 7:30a5:30p, Wednesday 7:30a7p, and Saturday 7:30a3p. There is no call. The provider will see 1820 patients per day, including 24 morning walk-ins (not exceeding 9), with the remainder as scheduled appointments. The patient population includes all ages, supported by MAs, full front office staff, and multiple NPs and MDs onsite. Candidates must have an active ME license and ME DEA, with COVID/flu vaccination preferred but not required. The site uses eClinicalWorks EMR. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of primary care experience, with a strong preference for those with FQHC background and availability for a 6-month assignment over 3 months.
