Job Description
Our client, a community health center with locations in Attleboro and Taunton are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join their team! The position is open due to growth.

Manageable Patient Load: Average of 12 patients per 4-hour session. A full hour is blocked off daily (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM) with no patients scheduled.

Highly Supported Environment: No procedures required. You are supported by a dedicated Medical Assistant, a triage nurse, an on-site nutritionist, and an RN Care Manager who handles chronic care education (e.g., diabetes management education), allowing you to focus strictly on practicing medicine.

On-Call: On-call rotation is protected by a nurse triage answering service. You are only disturbed for absolute emergencies, which are typically routed directly to the ER.
Compensation & Schedule Structure

Base Salary: $220,000 – $225,000 plus sign on potential

Standard Schedule: 36 clinical hours + 4 administrative hours per week.

Perks: Your birthday off, generous PTO, only have to work two non-major holidays a year, since its primary care and not a hospital, the clinic is closed on major holidays
Core Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care to a diverse community patient base, managing both acute and chronic medical conditions.

Conduct physical examinations, assessments, and treatment planning within the scope of outpatient primary care.

Prescribe medications and treatments, including addiction medicine (Suboxone/Vivitrol). Note: Nursing staff handles Vivitrol and Sublocade injections.

Maintain accurate, timely documentation utilizing the Athena Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Collaborate seamlessly with nurses, behavioral health clinicians, and administrative support staff to ensure integrated care delivery.

Participate in periodic peer reviews, quality improvement initiatives, and one community outreach activity annually.

Adhere to all health center policies, clinical protocols, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications

Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited university.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (must obtain boards within 90 days of hire).

Licensed to practice Medicine in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (or eligible).
