These nursing home facilities provide comprehensive healthcare services to the geriatric population with dedicated medical support staff. The facilities operate with established protocols during regular business hours and maintain appropriate equipment and systems to deliver quality primary care services to residents requiring both routine and complex medical interventions.

The area features diverse attractions including historic maritime museums, rooftop venues, and specialized experiences such as planetarium yoga sessions and observatory activities. The region encompasses natural destinations like the Hudson River Valley, Finger Lakes, and Adirondacks that offer outdoor recreation opportunities. Visitors can participate in walking tours, cycling excursions, and helicopter flights, with the warmer months providing favorable conditions for outdoor exploration.

The clinician will provide comprehensive family medicine services to geriatric patients in nursing home facilities, managing 15-20 patients daily during onsite coverage from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with at least 5 days per week scheduling preferred. Clinical responsibilities include conducting thorough patient evaluations, managing chronic medical conditions, providing preventive healthcare services, and treating acute illnesses while maintaining accurate medical documentation. The position requires telephonic call coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM for the assigned facility.
