Seeking BE/BC Internal or Family Medicine Hospitalist to join talented team near Raleigh, NC. 12 hour shifts, 12 hour days, 7on, 7off Provide direct in-patient care to adult patients. ICU Setting: vent management is required, procedures are preferred but we do have ER physicians and other resources to assist with lines. Responsible for providing episodic and chronic care, as well as screening and educational assistance to patients. Conduct inpatient and outpatient consultations in internal medicine. Provide quality care to patients by following the most current evidence-based guidelines and procedures of practice. Adhere to all institutional policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety and quality of care. Take part in quality assurance audits, including continuing education, and peer review. Participate in continuing education and training to keep abreast of current developments in the industry. Recognize the diversity of the patient population and treat all warmly and kindly. Familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures in the field. Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding. Sufficient clinical knowledge and experience to provide clinical competence and meet institutional standards of care. Interpersonal skills to deal harmoniously with staff, patients, and family members. Demonstrated ability to meet the responsibilities of the position.
