Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician Cleveland, OH

We are looking for a Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician with a background/interest in functional medicine to join our company full time in the Cleveland, OH area.  The physician will be providing functional medical services to select employees at a physical clinic, plus house calls, and telemedicine. The position will involve collaboration with other specialists at the clinic, who will likely be part-time initially, including potentially a functional nutritionist, a psychotherapist, and a physical therapist. The physician will also contribute to the strategy and direction of our Company, providing advice from a medical perspective to help us develop programs, such as the program to provide healthy food to employees. As time permits, the role may also involve being the remote collaborating physician for one or more nurse practitioners.

Requirements:

• MD or DO, with a background in functional medicine or an interest in how all relevant factors affect a patient’s health: lifestyle, environment, etc.
• BC in either Internal Medicine or Family Practice
• Clean background, no medical malpractice
• Willing to undergo NPDB, NPI, DEA and state board verification checks prior to onboarding

Skills:

• A functional medicine approach and a whole person view of health  
• A warm demeanor, kind, and attentive ethos that you bring to building relationships
• Ability to work with other specialists, particularly nutritionist and psychotherapists, in providing care  
• Flexibility to work in a startup company environment: adapting to help when unforeseen problems arise

Ideally, (not essential but would be valuable) the Physician would have experience in:  

• Designing or running wellness programs
• Background/interest in the arts and humanities
• Mental health or Psychotherapy
• Occupational health or ergonomics
• Nutrition

Schedule:

• Full time
• On Call Position

Salary:  $200,000 per year
