Job Description
(Login for Information) is seeking a Family Medicine Physician and New Graduate Program Director to join our team! The Family Medicine Physician and New Graduate Program Director is responsible for leading the Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) New Graduate Program/Urgent Care Fellowship, ensuring high standards of clinical training and professional development for Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs). This role oversees curriculum design, clinical instruction, and mentorship to support fellows in becoming highly skilled and productive providers who embody (Login for Information)’s values. By coordinating training and fostering a culture of excellence, the director plays a key role in shaping the next generation of APPs within the organization.

Develop, implement, and evaluate the APP Urgent Care Fellowship New Graduate Program curriculum, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, best practices, and accreditation requirements.

Establish and maintain program goals and objectives, overseeing clinical performance to ensure competency through guidance, feedback, and regular evaluations.

Coordinate with clinical site leaders, preceptors, and faculty to facilitate effective learning experiences, including bedside instruction and didactic sessions.

Serve as a mentor and advisor, providing ongoing professional support, career guidance, and addressing performance or behavioral issues as needed.

Manage recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes for new fellows, tracking clinical hours, rotations, and competency achievements.

Prepare and maintain program reports, accreditation documentation, and manage the program budget, including resource allocation and expense tracking.

Represent the fellowship program at conferences, meetings, and community events while maintaining relationships with external organizations and professional societies to advance the fellowship’s mission.

Evaluate, diagnose and treat patients in our state of the art clinics.

Serve as a clinical role model to (Login for Information) providers.

Build a practice on the (Login for Information) platform.

Master the (Login for Information) Perfect Visit™ approach which includes: staying on time, using labs and pharmacotherapy/medications available through our (Login for Information) system whenever possible, and achieving visit goals, as defined by (Login for Information) metrics.

Master the (Login for Information) “team care” approach (our method of referrals, follow-up, etc).

Provide on-call clinical and medical decision support to our providers (amount may vary depending on collaborating physician numbers, vacation time, and leave times).

Collaborate with other physician leaders to strengthen our evidence-based platform and develop point-of-care clinical guidelines.

Participate in clinical committees as requested by the medical office.

Create medical content in the form of presentations to clinical colleagues and clinical recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS

MD/DO with active Board Certification in Family Medicine.

5+ years of clinical experience in urgent care, primary care, emergency medicine, or a related field.

Previous experience in academic or clinical teaching, mentorship, or leadership roles preferred.

Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work collaboratively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals.

Proficiency in curriculum development, assessment, and clinical teaching methodologies.

Ability to have difficult conversations with Fellows/New Graduates to mentor and coach them to become excellent highly productive clinicians.

Experience creating clinical and educational content.

Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, AthenaOne and other relevant software applications.

Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from a recognized and reputable organization (e.g., American Heart Association, Red Cross) or the ability to obtain one within 1 month of hire.

ACLS certified.

Vaccinated against COVID-19, Hepatitis B., MMR, PPD, Varicella (Chickenpox), and TD/TDAP.

Ability to be licensed in Oregon and Washington.

Salary Range: $240,000 to $270,000 with $20k bonus eligibility.

Other Compensation: Sign on and/or relocation assistance up to $15k. May be eligible for other compensation such as bonuses.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Direct clinical care a minimum of 2.5 days per week and a minimum of 0.5 day per week of administrative work, approximately 1 day of Clinical Support per week.
