Job Description
A value-based care organization in Oregon is recruiting a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to serve as a Regional Medical Director.
The role involves supporting the development of a new regional market, providing clinical oversight for patients with complex medical needs, and guiding a multidisciplinary team of physicians and nurse practitioners.
The position combines medical director responsibilities with direct patient care.
Travel is required along the I-5 corridor to support regional clinical operations.
A minimum of five years of medical director experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Any experience in Geriatrics, home care, or house call settings is a bonus. Prior experience in geriatrics, home-based care, or house-call settings is considered an additional qualification.
Competitive Base Salary, Full Benefits, PTO, CME time plus allowance, sign-on bonus/ relocation negotiable.
Community:
Oregon spans coastal shoreline, forested mountain ranges, high desert, and agricultural valleys, with distinct regions connected by major highways and mountain passes.
Population centers are arranged between the Pacific coast and the Cascade Range, where urban corridors transition into wooded foothills and open rural land within short driving distances.
The climate varies by region, with mild, wet winters in western Oregon and drier conditions east of the Cascades, shaping daily routines and seasonal travel.
Rivers, forests, and public lands are integrated into the state's geography, with towns and cities often bordered by visible natural features rather than continuous development.
