FAMILY MEDICINE LOCUMS POSITION IN ERIE, PA

Excellent locums opportunity for a Family Medicine Physician to work at this Community Health Center in Erie, PA providing primary health care services for refugees in the area. Erie has a population of refugees from Ukraine, Middle Eastern nations, Afghanistan and Latin populations.

Job requirements:

*Start January 2, 2025

*M-F 8 hour shift

*No OB care

*Pure family medicine

*18 patients per day

*Open ended assignment. Work two weeks at a time and then a discussion for extension

*Competitive hourly rate

*Paid lodging and mileage

REQUIREMENTS

*Cultural sensitivity is imperative

*Someone who enjoys educating patients on health care

*Must be able to work with an interpreter. High percentage of people that do not speak English as their first language
