New Family Medicine Physician Locums Job in Texas
Details/Requirements:
--This is for a caseload of around 35-45 people.
--Will usually see no more than 10 patients a day for acute illness, injury or follow up.
--Day is spent with clinics, interdisciplinary team meetings. Annual and interval medical assessments .
--Hours are 8:00AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday with every 6th weekday on call (5:00 PM-8:00 AM), and on call one weekend/ every 6 weeks. --About 95% of call will be covered by phone, and rarely requires a return to campus.
--When on call for the weekend/holiday, you must come in and perform infirmary rounds (16 bed Infirmary for acute and chronic care) and evaluate any acute illness or injuries among residents. The remainder of the time will be via phone.
--Must have an absolutely clean record - no history of sanctions by the Board.
--Must have current Texas license; DEA; NPI; and CPR/BLS.
--Prefer someone with experience in treating those with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities.
