Full time Family Practice / Internal Medicine Physician Fort Worth Texas
We are interested in a board-eligible or board-certified Family Practice Physician. This person must understand the importance of being positive, serving as a role model and leader, working well with others, strong work ethic, desire the understand the business side of medicine- and above all, provide quality, compassionate, comprehensive and effective patient care. This individual must be health and wellness focused as this is an important part of our practice. We expect our providers to lead by example.
Duties to include:
- Assess patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations; obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories.
- Determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests, such as imaging and laboratory studies.
- Reviews test results to determine treatment, provides patient education.
- Documents patient care services by charting in patient files and EMR (when implemented)
- Interviews and advises patients regarding health and pain management; instructs patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- Provides monitoring and continuity of care between office visits and procedures.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection control policies and protocols.
- Maintains strictest confidentiality of patient information and office business practices.
- Supervising physician duties for Benbrook and Coppell mid-level practitioners
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by Medical Director or Administrator.
Office hours and days candidate will work:
Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
